The US needs to ratify the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), a comprehensive framework for helping governments ensure that children are protected from exploitation and abuse and that children are provided with what they need to live and thrive. US ratification of the CRC would benefit the nation’s standing in the world and would help the US increase its role as a positive global force for children.
The One Health approach, which is used as a framework by government officials to influence public health policy, recognizes the interconnectedness of the health of humans, animals, and ecosystems.
